To make waste management and disposal more efficient and sustainable, DEIB has installed many different waste sorting stations, equally distributed in each of its buildings.
The stations are located outside the buildings, near the stairs and the busiest classrooms, near the “break areas” and, more generally, in all the areas with the highest traffic.
Each station is equipped with containers of different colors, each of which identifies a specific category of waste (red for undifferentiated waste, yellow for plastic and metal, blue for paper and cardboard), and an information panel that provides all the necessary information to differentiate. Furthermore, a collection point for used batteries is located outside each DEIB building.
