DEIB proposes various activities and encourages many
practices to spread the culture of sustainability.
Photovoltaic System
To increase energy efficiency and reduce the environmental impact of its facilities, the Department of Electronics, Information and Bioengineering of the Politecnico di Milano installed a system of photovoltaic panels on the facade of Building 20.
DataCloud
The DataCloud laboratory optimizes space, efforts and consumption in data analysis and machine learning activities necessary for DEIB’s research activities.
Waste Sorting
To make waste management and disposal more efficient and sustainable, DEIB has installed many different waste sorting stations, equally distributed in each of its buildings.
